Mirko Failoni

Mirko Failoni is an Italian artist and author with a focus on creative costume, creature and character design, driven by his passion for history, dinosaurs and storytelling.

He started his professional career as illustrator and concept artist in 2014, working on videogames, RPG manuals, book covers, film, advertising and more, on IPs such as Vampire: the Masquerade, Warhammer and Pathfinder among others. In 2020 he created and Art Directed a whole line RPG manuals, based on his own IP, Historia (published by Mana Project Studio), nominated in the Ennies awards for best setting and best art.

He started his work as an illustrator for Magic The Gathering in 2021 and has collaborated on many sets, like Fallout, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Duskmourn. He has also worked as a concept artist for the Aetherdrift set.
He works from his home studio near Rome, next to his two beautiful cats.
